Owner and Head Trainer

John has 35 years experience in advance obedience training, personal protection training, police dog training, and Schutzhund. He is a breeder of fine German Working Line German Shepherds. He is also a Custom Importer.

Philosophy:

Every business should have an operational philosophy. At Advanced Canine Services Inc. ours’ is “Harmony through Clarity.”  Dogs cannot perform happily and freely if they do not clearly understand what we are asking of them. Teaching behaviors and exercises requires patience, repetition, and thoroughness. We do not rush the learning process. By training in this manner we avoid many of the conflicts that distract from the pleasure of dog ownership.

  Starting with our puppy class we establish a foundation of happy, focused, willing behaviors. At approximately six months we will begin to formalize these behaviors into willing, reliable obedience. All through the training process we will make sure your dog has a clear understanding of the behaviors we are asking it to perform. We use consistent repetition and generous motivation to get your pet to perform. By training in this fashion we ensure you will have a harmonious relationship through -out the life of your dog.

Danielle has been working for Advanced Canine Services INC for 2 years. You can see her in the following videos with her dog Quaier Vom Salztalblic, a 7-month-old German shepherd. She has had this puppy for only 3 months when these videos were taken.
